Ive got a buddy with a 1913 Pierce. Its been in his family for something like 50 years. He rides it all over, any car show that he gets the chance. Even raced it against a buddy of his with a 1920s harley, at irwindale.

the exposed flywheel is like the ones on my antique John Deere tractors. On my old model A unstyled you have to start it using the flywheel. It has finger grips inside behind the face for grip. No safety features
