my county Tuolomne says 78.69
my state Calif. says 80.80
The United States says 77.80
I'm 61 be 62 in July, so I got a lil' over 16 years
hell my dad is 85
still going like the Energizer bunny, sometimes anyway
& he drank a quart of whiskey a day for 64+ years
& smoked Chesterfield filterless cigarettes for 45+ years
eats bacon & ice cream like it's the
5th & 6th food groups
He had a quadruple bypass @ 82 & a pigs heart valve installed
& he's still kicking, going strong-ish
I did none of the ****, well mostly anyway
God, I hope I do better than that statistic says
almost all his friends are 80-95 y/o too
one just died Dick J.--- he was 99
Most are still out raising Cain, golfing 3 days a week
giving waitresses hell, every morning etc.
so maybe
it's not so accurate, as to where we live
maybe it's
how & where you live
I'd assume
anywhere away from the inner-shitty's
mass population, mass homeless, the smog
& the hustle & bustle of the shittys, traffic & commute, stress
the life expectancy ratio goes up
I did read somewhere;
more people up here, die of shoveling snow
than almost any other county
that's strange, but understandable too
we do have a low crime rate,
especially compared to many parts of Calif.
Our huge rural county is only like 54,000 total population
& the biggest town/seat (city) is Sonora, that's less than 4,900
