White cooler for sure black gives it that tough look. But it is all up to the owner for sure. If it makes you happy go for it.
White it is the original color. Makes it different and breaks up all the dark.My 74 Rallye Charger. B5 blue body, blue interior, black side stripe (not installed yet) and a canopy vinyl top. When I bought the car in 1987, it had a black vinyl top. The fender tag calls for a white top. I'm to the point where I need to make a decision. I painted the car this past summer. I painted the canopy top area black so my grandson could see what a black top looks like. I'm trying to decide what to do. I actually painted the black with an orange peel finish to simulate a black top. I may paint it a white orange peel finish so he can see that. The vinyl top runs about $300 plus shipping. The car will be driven, not a trailer queen. White is hard to keep clean. Should I go original or not? Thanks. As a side note, I have another 74 Charger that I plan on painting it like I want it, not original. I'm posting photos of the Rallye fender tag and the most recent photo of the Rallye.
