Did the seatbelts where they're bolted to the floor pan have the
decorative plastic covers over the bolts in 1966?
Thanks
Dave

Not on the center tunnel. Plated silver bolts and metal tabs exposed.

The sides had hard plastic covers the held the belts up where you can grab them easily. Kept them from getting lost under the seat.

Remember- retractors were optional in 1966.

My car had no options but somebody added power steering at some point.
I changed the carpet last week and it had never been out. The seatbelts had no bolt
covers on any position. If it did not have retractors, would the front outer belts
still have had a cover?
Been looking for pictures not fount any and the belts showed no sign of ever being
partially covered.
Thanks
Dave
