Hi i hope i m in the right subforum to post this
I have been trying to order some gasket for my 90 degre oil filter adapter, the only place where Ii found some at a decent price was mancini racing I ve placed my order a week and a few days ago I have yet to hear from them in order to have some shipping charge info since i m in France

Anyone got the same experience with them do they usually take ages to answer an inquirie?

Thanks for your time

I have ordered from them in the past and it sometimes takes awhile for them to ship.
Not sure about overseas orders.
Best to call them to see where they are at on your order.

I've done a lot of business with them over the years, however none lately. I'd give them an A+ for their past performance, but like many businesses lately... who knows ? I can't think of ANY business this year that I'd give praise.

called them a few days ago a guy told me you ll receive a mail tomorrow then hang up.
i m still waiting for an email

I placed a very large order and had questions noted to please call so we could get it right the first time... it took a very long time to get a response. Now I take part numbers and get it from my local dealer and skip the bs and freight.

They like virtually every other business has been hit with the dreaded "OH MY GOD WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE FROM COVID".... Or not.... syndrome....... Death rate .008

Nobody can work at a normal pace these days, slow down, don't take any risks.... Oh, don't return calls, don't reply to emails.... Communication must be as dangerous as direct contact....

Just called them again and just got the same ho yeah you ll get a quotation tomorrow answer with a comment like jeez you placed your order 1 week ago give us time ffs

I think i would have a better time asking someone to hunt those gasket (MOPP5249320) for me and have them ship it to me. here everytime i had a question or an issue someone helped me out

If they do not have it in stock and are waiting for it to come in from the vendor they wont finalize the transaction. I placed an on line order and 5 days went by and no response. I called and they had everything but one item. They asked if I would accept another brand. I did and I had the parts in 2 days. Verify the part is in stock.

the regular part i listed was out of stock on their site but i went for this one Small Block Gaskets Superformance 90 Degree : SFP340-K5

i ll give them 2 more days cause 2 weeks to get someone to make a quotation is pretty bad imho and the guy on the phone sounds quite rude

I used to like them. But they've been a pain to deal with in the last couple of years. Covid's no excuse for not being able to process payments properly or communicate in a timely fashion. After some pretty unsavory experiences with them I don't see the need deal with them anymore.
THAT SAID, about the part number you listed for the Superformance part...his stuff has been out of stock for quite awhile and unfortunately there are very few distributors. Too bad because his gaskets are very good.
Forget Mancini; call Todd Marsh@ Moparts Racing.com or Competition Wedge Racing.
And I'm remiss to admit it but recently I've found Hughes to be quite reliable and easy to deal with...but call to see if your part is in stock first.

I have placed several orders this year and have had very good results. Some orders were processed and arrived faster than others, which I believe is based on how busy they were.

While I hope it works out for you, you could inquire with Todd at Marsh Performance to see if he could assist.

thanks for all those recommandations
if all fails i guess i ll just have to buy a straigth oil filter kit

You need to tell that to the families of the 614,007 who have died from Covid 19 as of June 11th, 2021. I for one don't think it's a laughing matter. And just so you know there have been 63,216 in your state of California, the highest in the U.S..

A few times I’ve had to call them to check on parts that didn’t arrive. Sometimes a little bump to get em moving

Inflated numbers....

My experience was pre covid and was a very profitable order... I couldn’t believe the poor service... I was so disappointed ..

And could you please give me the numbers for the Flu & Pneumonia during that same time frame? Oh, While your at it could you grab the numbers for Flu & Pneumonia for the five years prior to that?

Funny suddenly the deaths due to the Flu & Pneumonia dropped like a stone... Oh death by virtually every other thing dropped too... Only thing that kills people anymore is Covid...

Bad experience right before covid will make me consider another vendor.

Bad commo on problem of items received
