Bought new a few months ago, anybody else having this issue? Right near lower most bolt on the driver side. Getting a couple drips a second, gets worse when it's hot and I can't tighten it anymore without doing damage to something. Going to pop it off later in the week and put a straightedge on it and see if I can maybe resurface it if need be. Hoping maybe a couple of heat cycles will cure it but I doubt it

I believe 440 source had a run of those housings that had problems.
Im running one that i bought several years ago, and the port locations in the casting was ugly, so i kinda expected problems, but i have had no problem, no leaks, no overheating (used a 440 source pump too.)
BUT... im using elephant ears, and studs to hold the
housing on.
Before i did anything else, maybe see if you can change the bolt for a stud and nut.

Did you check the depth of the hole compared to the length of the bolt allowing for the thickness of the pump?

Nope! Should've, though I'm using the factory bolts I probably should've being aftermarket and aluminum.

Retun it and buy a better housing nothing that's cheap is worth the hassle. Try Milodon or the Mopar housing.
Got it figured out...Burr sticking up pushed part of the gasket aside. Few seconds with a file and new gaskets and problem solved. Now that its a sealed system I just need to figure out the overheating issue

Out of Curiosity where was the Housing Made ?

Probably the same place as their heads, NOT here.....! I know they order them by the pallet. I called and talked to one of the techs to see if they were having issues with any of them the past few months and he said no and there haven't been any for a while that they are out of stock and that they usually get them by the pallet load
