Did Dodge ever use dual Holley carbs on any Hemi's from the factory,
Or where they all Carter AFB carbs?
What years, if so?

On the street cars, Carter. But the factory produced Super Stock lightweight race hemis, such as this 1965 Plymouth, Holley.

Was told 64 Hemi's with steel fenders and hood came with AFB's.

Bottom line is 66-71 street hemi was all AFB.
1967 RO WO super stock had AFB.

Race hemi was the only one that got Holley carbs on most, but not all of them.

A 1966 street hemi never came from Chrysler with a hood scoop, cross ram intake or Holley carbs.

1964 race Hemi cars shipped with carters but MOST quickly converted to Holleys

Otherwise. Like mention 1965 and 1968 race hemi cars only were Holleys.

ALL street hemi were dual carter AFBs

Except for 70/71 challengers and cudas with shakers, and b-bodys with the vacuum operated flip up scoops. Air grabber, and Ramcharger.

All 70-71 Street hemi cars with shaker and air or grabber/ Ramcharger hoods Had carter AFB Carbs.

The statement stands all 1966-1971 street hemis had AFB carbs.

look in a factory service manual or galens white book, they both give carb numbers

also 2 Holleys will not fit on the inline street hemi dual quad intake. The float bowls hit in the center. So guys get a marine intake to run Holleys, but then the stocK air Cleaners won’t fit on them because they are further apart.

I was referring to the statement, quote " a street hemi never came from chrysler with a hood scoop, ...."
Clearly false.
The rest i agree with.

He said 66 didn’t come with a scoop

He and i got it straightened out, on a PM. We were talking of two different things, and both right. Works out nice that way.
Glad you two ‘worked’ it out, I have a 66 but I’ll use the 67 RO scoop.

Yes @Ceedawg I addd the 66 to my post. We were (I was) on different pages but it’s all fine now. But now reads odd now, no worries though.

The 67 scoop just falls right in place on a 66

A friend has an original hood and scoop (he won’t sell it to me lol) so I can get the hole and scoop in the right place. I have a nice heavy duty fiberglass hood to still use the hinges. Was going to go back stock being a Hemi car and all but this will be my driver with period correct parts.
