I was there in August of 96 for the "Mopar Pacific Nationals" show... 114 degrees... Brutal... September might be a little better butttttt...

The one near the track is The Cannery... I have no idea where they'll have as a host hotel..

I haven't been to Vegas in a couple years now. so its time

I have been giving some serious thought to ride up ,,although will most likely haul the car up. The road between Flagstaff and Kingman is barren and no cell service makes me a bit uneasy .

I lived in Vegas for 12 years. It’s hit or miss temp wise at mid Sept, so it could be nice or 100+

I lived there for a year back in the 70's (Nellis) when you live there you get acclimated to the heat... When you visit not so much....

I just stayed a while after Uncle Sam was done with me!

Ive never been to a show on the west coast. So it has a lot of 1st for me.

There will be info posted on a group cruise from AZ to Vegas. Tucson Mopars organizes it and meets up for breakfast with the Phoenix group. There's usually a lunch and car show at McSwanty Dodge in Kingman. The cruise route uses the 93 to Kingman, plenty of folks to assist if you have issues.

Thanks, I am seriously considering this trip. Just not sure if I wan to drive the car ,,,or haul it. Long ways with no A/C is tough this time of year

I'm flying in Thursday, Might have a hookup at a Casino (still working on it) but I've got reservations at the Motel 6 next to the track as backup...
