Fast and Furious Charger unveiled

Well if you believe in conspiracies it has been said that especially Ford was very active in how their cars were portrayed. That said I do not think Mopar suffered from being portrayed as the "bad boy"
I agree. Mopars have always looked more sinister. Its why I'm hooked. Fords and Chevy to this day play it safer with their designs. Not to say Mopar hasn't had their flops. But that comes with taking more risks.

Oh my God the scene with Katy Bates, if I see it again for shure i have nightmares, even the sound effects were creepy.
Great Point!
(I am a FORD fanatic)
But remember this...EVERYONE...!

"In movies and books, tales...it is the BAD GUY who you remember the most...the BAD GUY is the one that gets imprinted in our memories..."

So, If ..If I were a car in a Movie or...a Bad Guy in a Movie...I'd want to be a MOPAR.

Some Bad Guys we LOVE:

1. Jack Palance as "Wilson" in Shane, 1953..
(As Shane says to little Joey..."that Wilson alright, he's fast...he's fast on the draw")

2. Sir Anthony Hopkins as "Hannibal Lectre" in Silence of the Lambs

3. Anthony Perkins as "Norman Bates" Psycho, 1960.

4. Kathy Bates as demented Nurse Annie Wilkes in "Misery"

5. The Sinister 1968 "Black Charger" in Bullitt

So: the BAD GUY Always "Wins" in the end...no matter how you look at it! View attachment 1057081

I used to look forward to the Fast and Furious movies but they have turned into a cartoon of themselves. The stunts are impossible, the storylines are bullshit, the acting is mediocre and the music appeals to the Latino gangster crowd.
Hollywood moviemakers have adopted a habit of spastic editing of scenes where fight sequences, car chases and pretty much ALL action scenes are comprised of 1 to 1.5 second shots all glued together in a manner so that you can't tell just how bad they are.
Watch any fight scene in a movie made since say....2010. There are no lingering shots. Every sequence cuts back and forth from multiple views, each segment lasting no more than 1.5 seconds. This rapid-fire editing style masks poor acting, poor choreography, slow actors and can be confusing to watch. I don't like watching fight scenes anymore. I'll FF right through them.
Seriously....take the time and you will see: The action scenes nowadays are edited together in very short clips. Chase scenes can be done at 30 mph but when they are edited together using tightly cut editing, up-close shots, camera swaying around blurring the images and add in dramatic music, it is the movie equivalent of meat loaf made from 10% meat and 90% sawdust, mealworms, breadcrumbs and flour.

Couldn't have said it better Gregg!
I personally call you in my secret world..."The Professor"!

Ya know?
EVERYTHING coming out of Hollywood these past few years is Re-makes...
Re-makes of "good pics" from a previous time
AND:
The CGI world is truly a fairy tale world.
I'm finished with it.
A controversial topic I always "state: is:
In the So Cal area, nightly...there are car accidents...funny thing is, they are all Tuner Cars..
Kids street racing, killing themselves and innocent bystanders/drivers etc.
Thank You Fast & Furious!
And, Hollywood and Corporate business producing these crap / junk films are turning a Blind eye due to profits
I call it : "The dumbing down of America"

Cant wait!
Another X-Men movie is coming out!
Ha Ha, Hilarious
We all thought Stallone was Bad..."Rocky XXIVIVIII"
Ha!

Watch the movie Brawl in Cell Block 99. It points out how the fight scenes were done compared to more modern movie fight scenes. Vince Vaughn is a badass.

I like how the guy says that a 70 Charger weighs 3200 pounds, about the same as the Supra. So I thought I would post a picture of my 3200 pound 70 Charger.

A stripped down 318 Charger with manual everything and no A/C might weigh 3500. My red car was 3660 with a 318 P/S, A/C and stock bucket seat interior.

Regardless of like/dislike of the F&F franchise, I got a Mopar Insiders notification and screenshot some pix.
THIS is WAY better than some fake supercharged, Chebby powered Charger, THIS is THE ****!!
Hellcat supercharged Gen 3 HEMI, MID-ENGINED Charger!
