Was the max engine the only one painted orange? All others blue?

Hemi's were orange, 361/383's were turquoise/Blue, slants were red.

Every pic I've seen of max wedge are orange. I did see one pic of a 426 single 4 bbl that was blue. So is that correct?

Orange is all I've ever seen on Max Wedge engines.

64 would for sure be orange even my original unmolested 63 block cast sept 62 was orange but I've also owned & seen a few sets of early max wedge intakes & heads that where unmolested or original take offs that have blue paint on them but I'm assuming they are probably from a 62 413 MW which is the same animal for the most part.

I have the T-shirt: When the Orange Monster Strikes, Records Tople! It is a different orange from Hemi Orange. My friend found that Krylon's Medium Pumpkin Orange matches Max Wedge Orange!

The Max Wedge engine was painted Race HEMI Orange. Mopar part number P4120751AB.
