I have a support some sort of bracket on the back side of my radio that does not look original..

i thought there was a support rod and not a strap...

Need help please.

Thanks to all the b bodies for a great web site and support.

I think it’s a bracket that bolts to the lower lip of the dash and supports the radio. I have mine apart and can probably find it later to take a picture.

Hillbilly fix it job there, toss it. There is a round rod with ends stamped flat. One end a hole and one U shaped for the bolts. U shape goes to radio. Hole end to dash frame.

It’s for coronet only, Plymouth is different.

BOld and old, does you car have AC? If not then the defrost hose is the wrong one.
