What does the '3' signify on this 1970 440 engine? Thanks!

If you look at it sideways, that’s actually the international symbol for boobies. Just a little assembly line humor. :)
 
Comparing the date stamp n that 3,they dont look the same.Sure its a 3 or a half *** 8
 
I knew a chick with nice boobs, but one was a little bigger than the other.....kinda like that 3
 
Being that the 3s are different fonts, it makes you wonder about all stampings: the inaccuracies, and the differences in character styles that "we" call fakes or restamps.
 
This is a friend's engine block that he's had lying around for decades. I seriously doubt that any forgery is going on with this one.

Probably just a random stamping on the line. I would think if it had any meaning, there would be others and they would have been documented and argued to death by now..
