USPS Sucks again.

USPS story:

Sent a certified letter 56 miles away (cashiers check). It took 35 days to arrive. That's 1.6 miles a day. I could have walked it there with time to spare.

USPS is now officially the worst way to send anything.

RGAZ
Look up why... The US post office is now a welfare hiring operation.. The people on welfare that NO private business will hire, all work there now... Nobody cares and the welfare workers know that they won't be fired for fear of the R word and lawsuits..

I tracked my parts the other day that said they'd
be there next day , were in St Louis.
Didn't show up so checked tracking, guess what?
Went to somewhere in Indiana.
What idiots ,hire people that can read shipping labels!!!!!

Apparently reading and writing are not a requirement for a job there anymore.

nope there sure not. A scanning tool is all you need these days. You could be a deaf blind mute and fit in just fine as a delivery person .

If I go to the PO in the city I live in which is a secondary PO but only a couple of miles from me, it goes from there to the 'main' PO in the city I live in before going to the Houston processing PO. Now there's a PO in another city that's just as close as the one in the city I live it where the mail from there goes straight to Houston.....which usually saves at least 2 days lol. Yeah, I always use the PO that's in the next city.

Mailed a box to CA.
Got there in 2 days from Detroit.

Nothing wrong with the post office.
Bills always arrive on time.

well at least before covid I have never had a problem with usps in 40 yrs of buying south of the boarder , fed ex is very good to , but I stay away totaly from ups they are total thieves with their extra charges crossing the boarder .

This morning my shorts were bunched up over fud ex, NOW, it's usps. I'm in Dayton Ohio. I just tracked a usps package, and found out it was delivered today in, Athens Alabama. :(

Don't feel bad. There was a story in the local newspaper about 25 years ago that they found a boxcar on a side track here in NJ that was loaded with 3rd class mail and lost for over 7 Years!
