That grille looks fantastic! Nice work!

Thanks. There are pits in the pot metal and a PITA to smooth them out, mask paint and polish the outer edges. Its a 10 foot grille but I am OK with it. Will have it all buttoned up this weekend.

Bumper is all adjusted. Head lamp motor installed and tested. Assembled the front valance and installed. Time for grilling and beers!

Pulled the transmission back out today. I was installing the drive shaft and was not happy how tight the yoke fit into the trans. Carefully pulled the tail shaft and drove the bushing out. Used a old yoke with a collar installed to drive the new bushing in after I froze it for a few hours. New Dr. Diff yoke slipped right in after that. Now to pick up a couple gaskets at Carlisle before I can put it back in.

What about the glass. Do you original or after market. We had to cut on the front window on my 69 runner. My glass guy said by the numbers stamped on the glass it was made in china. Had bought it 4 years ago up in Daytona beach fl. from an auto glass company. Not AMD glass. After some cutting it down in a few places and say we cut a lot off it went in fine. Tight but fit snug. Good luck the car is looking grate.

I have to buy all new glass. Shipping and fitment are my biggest concerns. AMD is out of stock so no picking any up at Carlisle.

Supply is getting tight on every thing now day's. Lack of material and people not going back to work. Trying to find cragar mag's are hard to get also. If I do find them they are out of sight. But guess they where always expensive. I am saving up just to get the back one's. 15X8 the 15X7 are not out their on back order so I am told. Well hope you get your glass soon. As you know I had to have my back window made and it cost like the devil. But in the end it got the car done. Wish you luck on the quest for the glass. Their are other supply company's just have to get down and look. But beware they might not fit worth a darn.

Picked up my complete exhaust system from Don's Custom Exhaust at Carlisle. He had it on display when I got there.

Damn that looks nice - Even the hangars look beautiful and original

On another note

You took pictures of every 1971 Dodge Charger at Carlisle , correct ? Can’t wait to see them

LOL

Curious question......where does the passenger side hanger get attached?

At the top of the wheel opening. There is a bracket that it mounts to that's attached to the shock mount.

I was so busy in the swap area looking for parts I spent very little time in the show field. I want to have the car there next year.

That's the same bracket that I have on my 1971 Clonerunner.
I assume all Satellites and road runners have the same bracket.
Looks like I will be looking for the same hanger when I go to purchase the exhaust for my car.
