Not a Mopar, Not what you'd expect... But you might want to see it

Some real engineering there, and it's capable of more.

Man he dropped that hellcat like dead weight

Pretty cool, not my taste but it hauls! Driver seemed like a pretty cool dude too.

That's why I like the car hobby. I would never want to build that style car, but you have to respect the work he did and the final result.

Not my style of car at all, but that doesn't mean that I can't admire the work done to it...

I'm surprised that the wheels are able to take that kind of force without pulling the
centers out!

And he's complaining about a 1.49, 60ft time with those tires and wheels.

I grew up on n off in El Paso TX. Saw a lot of low riders. Not my scene, but respect the hard work n engineering that went into them.

100% not a car I would own or build but if you can't appreciate what he's done than you ain't black.... Wait!!! I mean you aren't much of a Car Guy.....

It scoots!

And that's not even mentioning what's been done to the suspension to handle the weight of them plus brakes! It takes some power to be able to stop the car PLUS stop those spinning flywheels.....not to mention the nuts to even ride on them that fast.

We all have fun rides just depends how far you take them crazy.

8.95 @ 155 is truly fast for a donk,
hell it's fast for a normal racecar

unfortunately, 2 strikes against him
1st it's a fugly/heavy *** '4 dr'
& 2nd the wheels look like a clown-car
cartoonish size wheels/tires

I wonder how much faster it'd be with
an appropriate size/style wheel & tire combo
lower center of gravity
& all that mass, killing power
hooked pretty good from what I saw
I'd bet he has probably 1,200+ maybe 1,300+ Hp
(or more, boosted &/or some LX/LS derivative I assume)
probably has 'a 7 second car power', at 3000#

I didn't watch the whole video, I watched the 1st pass
& quit, I can't watch that stuff...
Makes me think "why ?"

I've never been a donk guy, I suppose I never will be

it is what it is

I respect what he can do with it,
but I just don't care for them, at all...

to each their own

I ain't no Chevy hater either...
If that makes me any less of a car guy, 'so be it'...

Didn't expect everyone to love it, I certainly don't.. Just found it interesting & impressive considering most Donks couldn't hit the 14's...

I respect anybody who's in the automobile fraternity!
Years ago there were many lowriders in my community - I didn't particularly care for them....
After seeing labor, engineering, artistry and love for their rides I definitely changed my mind towards gearheads that build and own these and don't knock them.
Turns out, one of my distant cousins had built one, unbeknown to me, and found out at his funeral
Thank God for car enthusiasts and their varied tastes - it would be quite boring otherwise!
