I hate the black plastic used on modern vehicles. Less then 25k on my 18 Ram and the trim is impossible to keep looking good.

I get pretty good results with Meguiars 'ultimate black'...but it still needs to be re-applied every couple of washes. Looks good while it lasts though.

Interior or exterior?
Dammit that's a very good question. I shoulda axed him that...I assumed exterior because those are the pieces that like to turn gray on mine.

wipenew?

I was actually at a point where I was willing to try that but the "as seen on TV" store ay my local flea market closed.

I would guess exterior as well but ya never know.

Back in Black aerosol or something similar is my go to. Meguiars vinyl and rubber conditioner works good as well. Just need to reapply every so often. Once it get UV’d out you’ll be chasing it forever.

Yeah exterior. I have used back to black but it’s back to grey in week or two.

My solution: Take it off and paint it.

Otherwise you can use all the things suggested above. They all will give you a short term feeling of "nice." followed quickly days later by "crap". Kinda like dating.

Whenever I get a friend who has the plastic problem, I have painted it and they were like WOW, that is nice. Here is the last thing I did: (the bottom of the bumper is the black plastic).

Looks pretty nice eh? Especially for an old beater Tacoma.
