Lost my Dad Saturday night after a long struggle with cancer. he passed peacefully at home in his sleep. Thank God for the nurses from Hospice. My sister and I were with him for his last couple of days. We could not have made it through without them. Whatever those nurses are paid, it is not nearly enough.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.
Peace of Christ my friend.

I am so very sorry but it’s something many of us have dealt with, I lost my father in 1971 on Valentines Day to cancer so I know what you are dealing with. It’s a blessing he passed away in his sleep, God bless you and your family.

Sorry to hear that. Prayers for him and family. I agree with you. The hospice nurses are special folks.
God bless them also.

My wife was a Hospice nurse for 12 yrs and they a a special breed. Most are made for it the others that are not don't last.
My wife loved her job and said that the pain management for the patients was relatively easy, she got the most satisfaction helping the families through such difficult times. Unfortunately a car wreck and multiple surgeries ended her career that she so loved and was made for.
