The Carlisle 2021 thread

The plan over here is that we will be leaving our house tomorrow morning at 9am, meeting with 2 friends, and traveling down together. We should if all goes well be there by 3:30 or 4 o'clock in the afternoon

Richard,

Got my credentials so here is an update for you.

@JPrusinows, Jeff, Show Field, 65 Plymouth Belvedere I, spot R142, Plymouth B-Body 62-67 Modified
Jeff,

Thanks for registering and providing your info. Richard is likely hard at work setting up, butt I added your information to the list I will have at the tent.

See you there!

Hawk

Got here yesterday late.
Be prepared for heat n humidity, supposed to be 96 today with heat index north of 100+.
I stay at Western Village campground and it's already filling up.
I heard there are NO vendor or Car Corral spaces available. If you don't have a registered vendor spot, you're too late.
Car corral spaces open up as cars get sold, so good luck if you're bringing a vehicle to sell.
Anyone bringing a 67 Coronet R/T convertible?
Inquiring minds need to know.......
See ya'll there

Is it true that the bikini/Daisy Duke contestants must pass through the FBBO tent and get "signed off" for approval BEFORE heading to the stage??? Wondering minds would like to know.
All wives are to be give money to attend the ladies craft building 15 minutes prior to prevent ANY possible bodily harm to husbands/bf.

Been in Commiefornia for 30 years. Forgot how green it is here in Pennsylvania.

And hot. And wet.
Walked through a grocery store with no mask. Wearing my favorite hat. With my friend. Can’t do that at home. HOWEVER, had to go to 3 stores to get orange juice, vodka, and beer. Get it all at the same place where i live. Anyway, God Bless the USA. Don’t care if i sit and drink beer in the fbbo tent the whole time. Nothing can wreck this trip. Thanks Hawk.

Well, mom's flight from FL arrives at BWI tomorrow. We're going to decompress and visit Friday (we see each other 2x a year), and I may throw a fresh coat of wax on the Charger. We'll be there Saturday. Driving the Charger, '14 Grand Cherokee chase vehicle (a/c for mom if she needs it). I'll pack my 10x10 EZ up tent and a couple folding chairs, and probably a cooler of water/gatorade (and if mom has a say, she'll bring wine!).

It *looks* like the storm is going out to sea down around VA Beach or so...should be far south and east of the fairgrounds. We may see some showers, according to the weather...but what do they know? I expect H-O-T, and probably humid...like usual. Some rain would be nice, to keep the dust down, but...

I'll have my Mad Money...but without my 2500 diesel with 8' bed, I think I'll be safe against too many impulse buys!

If anyone needs any 2.2/2.5 turbo stuff, let me know and I can schlep it up. I've got a couple heads, blocks, some manifolds, turbos, fuel rails, A413 turbo automatic transaxles, Daytona body parts, Shadow body parts, Spirit body parts, Shelby Lancer body parts...random stuff from decades of buying, blowing motors, parting cars...and more than I need as spares for my van and my Daytona.

I also have a 36k mile 5.7 Hemi with 5 speed auto out of my totalled (t-boned by a stop sign runner) 05 Magnum R/T, sitting on a skid. Plan was to put it in my Satellite wagon, but now...I don't know. If I got the right offer, I'd probably sell it. Stock motor, have computers, can pull the gas pedal or other items out of the car as well...I also have all the seats ("slate" gray - a real light gray leather), the radio/nav unit (early, non-touch screen)...I have to check to see what else has been sitting indoors. The shell of the car is sitting out in the woods in case I needed anything else for the project that I haven't made any progress on even though I have all the parts

Big parts would force me to bring my truck (or the van)....mixed blessing/curse, there LOL - if I have space, I'll want to fill it back up before heading home!

Looking forward to the show, and to meeting everyone!

I owe you more than just some beer from my trip across country in 2015, so I'll try to hook you up with a couple of cold ones! Stop by swap meet spots E45/E46 if you're thirsty (and hopefully we are there!)

Loaded and ready to roll out early tomorrow morning, hope to be there around 10:30
