Plumbing, Plumbing and more Plumbing. It is really a nuisance living in a 25 year old house. All of the decisions the builder made to go cheap rather than do it right are coming out now.........

My plumbing is a zig zag mess as is my electrical, it was inspected when I purchased it but all covered by drywall... one by one i have had to fix leaks. I run wire and pipe like a harness, nice and neat and serviceable. Yes I’m planning on ripping it out sometime. I would make one hell of inspector after working on cars most of my life then a machinist for the other part..

25 year old house?? That’s new. I don’t think our house had plumbing when it was built.

Went for a good drive yesterday.

A Harbor Freight store opened up in my city, Tuesday morning, and it's right down the street from me, so today i went and bought their parts washer, and a couple of other ten dollar items.

I fired dad's ol Dodge D250 up for the first time today:bananadance:. After completely rebuilding the motor and the whole truck man does it feel good!!!!

I bought one of their parts washers as well, works pretty good but still trying to find the best thing to put in it. I started off with Kerosene which worked great but got nasty, couldn't get the horrible smell off of my hands and about made me sick to smell. I've got a water based cleaner in it now but it gets slimy and plugs up the filter, makes the tank rust and doesn't work nearly as well. I suppose mineral spirits or kerosene will be the best option I just need to change out the fluid more often and buy some good gloves?

When it comes to cleaning solvent, everyone chimes in with their personal preference with what they use.
Just boils down to what you prefer, to use.
Me, i have always used that purple cleaner, called "SUPER CLEAN"
Been using it for ever, and i like using the stuff.
Works well for me, so I'm just going to put it in the parts washer, that i just purchased.
I am going to do the remote filter modification on it that others have done, on watching You Tube videos.

We did receive some relief from a thunderstorm burst this evening. Frogs and toads are happy, as are the lizards, skinks, anoles, and whatever.

Put seat covers on my motorhome in 110* heat.
Bad move on my part.

In the rain we ventured to Rock City in Tenn., it was still really cool and even with the heavy rain it was worth it.

If 91 and 67 is heat index of 107, I wonder what our 95 and 95 gives for a heat index?
