1966 satellite , hemi 4spd, to cool not to share

nice detail on the blue strip on the tires. One year only.

Nice car - looks like a keeper for sure.

Pretty sure the front sway bar isn't stock. I could be wrong.. lol

Beautiful car, but it confirms to me no blue lines ever on mine. IMO they look out of place , 'But killer color combination.. ( only slightly biased )

I spotted the finish panel and its not the 1st Satellite Ive seen like that . Although its definitely in the minority

Seen one on a Satellite that had black lines, looked factory. Was pulling the gold bucket they were really nice. One side of seat seam the thread broke and a 6" split was there. Took cover off and hand sewed it shut. Tied off broken thread. Was easy started 1" before split to 1" after. Used two needles go though factory needle holes. With one needle you go from left side to right and with other needle right to left until your done. Used hd button thread.

Dental floss works best , super strong unwaxed and color floss with marksolot, done!

No anti-sway bar available in 1966 - there was no provision to mount one. Available in the 1967MY, however. I have an aftermarket bar on my '66 Coronet. It's functional, but looks like crap on the car.

The Hemi cars came with a front roll bar stock.

66 Charger had a sway bar

I added the sway bar on my Satellite from a 67 Charger

Most '66 Chargers came with factory sway bar as did all 1966 Hemi cars. They are different from '67 and up sway bars. The front of the car's frame is drilled for the unique mounting brackets. The ends of the bars clamp to the front strut rods. As a bonus, this '66 Charger sway bar bolts right on to 1964-1965 B-bodies as well. It is the same bar that was supplied with 426 Street Wedge package.

The front sway bar on my 66 mounts to the K frame . same as the later ones Im used to

Same here. I think Plymouth and Dodge used different sway bars/mounts for 1966, or at least for part of the year.
