Ahhh another hemi car... you came to the right place
Welcome from Michigan....
Welcome from Michigan....
Near Cincinnati/middletownWelcome from Copley Ohio (near Akron). What part of Ohio are YOU from?
Didn't know you were on here Brad. It was a privilege to help you save what we could. Thank you again for the car. I never thought I'd ever own a hemi car, and I can't thank you enough. It was worth the 5k miles and 6 hours of sleep in 7 days. I know Mark is stoked about his 65, well, as stoked as Mark gets, lol.Nice to see you here, Mike.
I am the guy he got the car from, and he is correct in the fact dad drove it for a few years and then parked it in the 'barn' with a cover over it. I hadn't seen the car in 10 years, and knowing how things are in Central Florida, figured the car would be rough. When we whipped the cover off the car, both he and I stood there staring at the car. I had forgotten how nice the car was when dad was driving it, and was shocked to see how well it held up over the years.
It sat next to a 1966 Coronet500 Hardtop 361/Auto/AC car, and was on the same property as my '65 Coronet500 convertible. If it hadn't been for Mike here, I would have nothing (thanks again for all the help, Mike!).
Thank you, but the kmember is one thing I want original. I appreciate it and will take you up on that.Whoa, great story about a very cool car!
I'm not sure if he can help with your k-member quest but Al Debevec fabbed one up for Billy's '70 Duster hemi project (which subsequently went into a '67 Barracuda when he changed directions). Story, pics and Al's contact info here on FABO @ https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/al-debevec-k-member-mods.427818/
Welcome aboard! Hit me up if I can help out with anything along the way.
