Any information out there on the proper wiring for the under dash solenoid connected to the switch? Also, the proper dash location for a 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye.

Should be in the factory service manual. The bullet connector plugs into one of the accessory feeds.

Connects to the yellow three-way accessory tap near the radio. Switch mounts to the lower left side of the dash frame, any one of the three positions located there.

Stock wiring loom or modified?

The wiring for the light goes to an orange 3 plug connector and works with the dash lights. The solenoid goes to the yellow connector.

To start, you will need a Slap-Stick shifter and related linkages, the mounting brackets from a donor car/floor section and rear console mounting bracket. Doing the conversion correctly also involves replacing the lower steering column head castings and removing the shift tube from the column. These castings are being reproduced now.

Where did you get that diagram? All of the parts are available through Classic Industries. I just need to know what parts to purchase. That diagram is spot-on.

You can buy the body and chassis manual on CD and print out any page you desire. Has all of that, wiring diagrams, window tracks, hide a way, suspension, etc. Bought mine 15yrs ago. Love it

The lower bracket should have two studs with nuts, there are corresponding ears cast into the bottom of transmission tail housing.
