In my book if you cant apologize then what kind of man are you. Just saying Im tired of people justifying what they did and not just apologize. That only pisses me off more. If its wrong then it just wrong. Do you know anyone that thinks there right all the time? Yep my boss. **** now your going to tell me men dont cry.

IMO if you can’t apologize, you have no integrity. Everybody screws up. Apologize so everyone can move on.

Sorry your boss is a dick.

Sorry Dave, sounds like you’re having a bad day. Some people are right no matter what. Have a good one my friend. Mike

I'm torn on the issue. Apologies don't make things right.

I'm sorry I murdered your family (got caught and going to death row).

If it weren't for getting caught and going to death row there would be no reason to be sorry. Get my drift ?!?!

And then there's the quickly muttered "sorry 'bout that" which just means "I'm letting myself off the hook".

Lately Canadians have been issuing a lot of apologies for **** our forefathers did. Considering the population at the time was a mere fraction of what it is today and that many of the current citizens immigrated long after these so-called offenses, the apologies hold little meaning (in my opinion). And the $$$ being doled out as reparations is coming out of the pockets of people who had absolutely zero involvement in the **** that occurred.

So there you have my opinion of apologies ... most are not worth the breath they take to mutter them.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.

I will apologize when my wife tells me I am an *** just kidding I will always stand up an admit when I am out of line. If you are going to talk the talk you better be able to walk the walk.

I miss my wife ,she always kept me in check. Wives are good for that.

I will not apologize for my forefathers just my stupid self.

I’m being told I should apologize for being white. WTF Right !!! Hold your breath. I didn’t do anything to anyone, I wasn’t here and they weren’t either.

I believe you should own your mistakes and apologize when it is warranted. That goes back to what funknut said about personal integrity and having humility.
On the other hand I'm not going let some self righteous Karen/Kevin tell me what I should be sorry for. Mind your business, you don't know me!

Even when I’m wrong, I’m right.

That's a critical thing in marriage, owning up to it when your wrong... otherwise it just keeps piling on until there's resentment. It's not just marriage but at this point in life I can easily say piss off to anyone else.

Apologies are only good when someone means it and works hard to never make that mistake again! Too many people apologize and don’t change their behavior!

Yep...well, you certainly would have issues with your integrity, anyways.
This hits at the core of what an apology should be the starting point of - namely, admitting there was an error
so that the process can begin of fixing it.
After all, the first step in repairing a problem is being able to admit there is a problem to begin with, eh?

Lookit, I'm as headstrong as anyone. Drives my wife nuts sometimes - but when confronted with substantive
evidence to dispute something I've said or done, I do acknowledge it and accept responsibility for my error -
and yes, that starts with an apology typically if one is warranted.

Even when I’m lying, I’m telling the truth.
