It's on both sides dripping on carpet all the way up where the carpet is on the firewall. I'm assuming this is coming from the wiper pivots. I'm going to lay upside down with a flashlight and see exactly where it's coming from but for now let's assume the wiper pivots are the issue. Reason I suspect this is, it rained fricking constantly from the time I removed it from the barn til I got it home. No leaks. I then put a battery in it and turned on the wipers, lights, etc, just to see what all worked. Now I have a wet floor on both sides. Coincidence? I think not.
So after a long winded explanation, here is the question. Year 1 has two different wiper pivot kits one with white gaskets and the other with black gaskets and butyl. Which one do I order and why? 66 Belvedere II. Thanks!

Order from Detroit Muscle and get the correct kit. There will be a white foam gasket and a black rubber seal that goes over the wiper pivot.

They offer a black and a white gasket? Which one do I use does it even make a difference?

He pointed out that there are 2 nuts up in there. Those are the nuts you have to remove to lower the wiper pivots. Once you take them out the wiper pivot will come out and you can then replace the gaskets. 2 nuts per wiper pivot. I guess his video was more about how to get to them. Once the pivots are dropped it should make sense.

Once the pivots are out you can drill, tap, and install grease zerks. ( spelt is spelled "spelled").

Make sure to do the grease zerk. It fills the shaft and becomes a secondary seal when the external seal goes bad again. I am not sure you could ever get back in there to grease them again but I don’t think it is needed.

Ok, thanks everyone. So what tap do you use for the zirks?

Well, after I ordered all the parts, it's not leaking from the wipers. It looks like it is coming out of the vents. Since the hinge areas appear dry, I'm assuming there is a mouse nest up in there. How hard is it to remove the heater box? I imagine it's pretty straight forward. Then just get my hand up in there and clean it out or see if it's rusty.
