What is the best place to order door panels?
I need door panels and rear panels 1966 Coronet 440 in Black.
I've checked with Year One and Classic Industries
Classic Industries just says .............Back Ordered
Year one says ........... 24-26 Week Lead time.
I also checked a few on eBay and there was like a 40 week lead time.
I'd like something in better time if possible
Any suggestions?

The company i ordered from uses abs plastic as a backer, instead of the factory style type, which is apt to water damage. I'll find their card, if you like.

The problems I've been running into is everyone is out of raw materials to make this stuff.
I ordered a package tray from Legendary two weeks ago and got a message back that I'll
have to wait 5-6 weeks. You can't win right now! They're still the best.

Years ago, SMS in Oregon redid my '64 Polara 500 door and inside rear quarter panels. They were subcontracted by Legendary Interiors. I arranged to have to panels delivered to Legendary at Carlisle. When I got them back, they came from SMS. They did an excellent job for me. I suspect that Legendary could not reproduce the chrome Mylar inserts on the panels.

I ordered some seat covers for 70 rt seats I have they had a 40 week lead time but I got them in about 12

I ordered from LI a month ago and got an email that it may take up to 196 days to receive my order. Wonder how they come up with 196 days? Why not say 200!

I ordered front upper panels from Yearone last November and they just arrived today (9/3/2021).

I just got an email from SMS they are not accepting orders on door panels after 9/15 until they catch up on back orders.

I would bet Year One and Classic Ind both get their panels from Legendary.

SMS door panels would be 3 times the price of Legendary, but sometimes that is where you have to go.

I ordered all 4 panels from Legendary on July 11th.
So far, I have received 1 email with the order confirmation and that's it.
I guess I'm in for a long wait.

It took seven months to get my door panels from Legendary

Worse today than a couple years ago if you know what I mean. Their selection is so broad between car brands, models, sub models, and colors that they can't and don't stock much. It is made to order and I bet they wait a while for a few orders for a specific product to hit the desk. You have to think about how that works. Their stuff is top notch when it arrives at your door though. Worth the wait.
