I read a lot of the posts here and it's encouraging to see so many who give thanks and praise to God, evening in the worst of times. In this sometimes 'toxic' social environment, to see grown men speaking proudly of their relationship with the Lord shows your strength of character. Thank you for being role models and God bless.
NOTE: My apologies to all on this forum. This original post was not intended to start a religious conversation and all this ranker. I will stick to MOPAR discussions going forward. Again, my apologies.

Technically we all are pretty lousy Christains when compared Jesus...but no matter how much we screw up, backslide, stumble and fall He is always there to forgive us again and again and only asks that we try to be better than we were before.
His mercy knows no limits, His love for us is never ending and always the same

Yeah, thank you God for the Corona Virus. 4,053,050 deaths. That was really helpful. It's the old 20 school children are killed in a tornado but one was spared. Thanks be to God.

That's the problem; is that you blame God for death and pestilence when its the works of Satan working through man....
But if you were to look He suffered a lot more for us than any hate you could spew...You ain't the first and won't be the last and He still forgives you and would welcome you.

a lab, in a country, that does not care about
human lives, or for cristian beliefs and values.

So somehow your God can't save innocent people from Satan? And now Chinese people are driven by Satan? How many have died from this while they and their families prayed desperately to some invisible made-up diety that people give credit to for good things and ignore the bad? BTW 1STMP you might want to learn how to spell Christian. Boy, I am not the one drinking the KoolAid. I dare you to watch ANY debate online of religious leaders vs. scientists. It's embarrassing for religion.

One thing that always gets me is religions promise things that can't be proven. All religions. Oh, you're going to live forever in paradise! That's been the spiel since before the ancient Egyptians. What makes your fantasy any more credible? Because they say some God told some goat herders 4000 years ago that they were special? God's Chosen People? Take 3 steps back from religion and you'll see it makes no sense. It's a scam dude! Any and all religions.

We see you have nothing but contempt for God, that's your choice. The Bible is historically accurate.
Scientist think a man can be a woman and vice versa, keep believing them.Scientist also believed the world was flat at one time too.
Man is sinful by nature and it's penalty is eventual death. But a way was made and given to us to be redeemed and accepted into heaven with our Father forever through Jesus Christ.
It's your choice as God does not force us to join him and he never said there would not be troubled times. He just promised to get us through it and to be with us as we deal with the attacks. Sounds like you made it through ok??? Dumb luck??? Did the science save you???
There has always been and will always be those that do not belive and I feel sorry for you and the rest of them. Your anger about it is evident by what you write but that's OK. Continue to go to the desert and play with your burning man post apocalyptic raves and bash anyone that does not agree. It's OK , your denial means that you think about God, that's a start even though it's not yet positive, He won't give up on you, be thankful for that. The Bible is historically accurate? I didn't think ANY Christians believed that anymore. Noahs' ark? I could write pages about that. Learn about Ken Ham's Ark Experience museum (That is failing miserably.) He has displays of dinosaurs playing with children. Joshua stopped the sun in the sky so the Israelites could kill more Amorites. (The sun doesn't rotate around the earth and if the earth stopped spinning everything would fly off it, plus untold natural disasters.) Try to count up how many people your god killed in the Old Testament, just because he wanted to.

I understand you are scared of going to hell but that's made up too. Let's say I tell you if you give me $10,000 every year I will guarantee you will live forever in a wonderful paradise. Now if you don't give me the money you will live forever in agony. Would you believe me and give me money. What proof did I provide for you? What proof can religions provide?

Christianity is based on the Old and New Testaments. According to the NT Jews are going to hell. According to the NT Muslims are going to hell even though they are based on the OT. Okay, now just Christians are going to heaven. Does that include Mormons who think Joseph Smith was given magic glasses to read texts from God and start his own religion? Why are there SO MANY different Christian religions? If they are so right why are they all different? It's because they are made up by people.

You might think I'm a liberal but I'm not. I'm a conservative Republican except on this issue.

Trust me scientists do not believe men can be women and women can be men. Christians do believe gay people go to hell which is sad. The gay people I know are really really nice.

Unfortunately, it's come down to that, like above
my way or the highway concept,
you have to do something
or you're evil or your beliefs are wrong
you can't have a choice
or if you do, you're dumb or a Koolaid drinker

that doesn't help the conversation any

that's why you don't or should NOT talk/discuss
religion or now even any sort of politics
here on the open forums
they pretty much go hand & hand
you will never ever change someone's mind
for or not
in either aspect

people have strong beliefs in either direction
you don't have the right
to tell them what they can or can't accept or believe

We have many people who will have differences of opinions
some very strong in one way or another
maybe some that are middle of the road too...

why can't it just be left at that ?
let them have their opinions, beliefs

why does it have to be 1 or the other ?

my way or the highway BS
why do you have to force what you think is right or wrong
in the aspects of religion/s

(there are many forms of religion, nonbelievers can be a religion too,
some are outright cult-like, even to more of an extreme & some worship/pray
to far worse things than a deity 'for the good of mankind' & many charities etc.
or a God, some are just leaches off life in general too)

I'm not deeply religious
or I'm not a heathen either
some may call it agnostic < I don't think I'm that either...
I was raised to believe, grew up going to church & Sunday school
I don't much at all now & have my doubts about a lot of stuff
for the reason of what happens in life/my life,
it's not yours, not anyone else's
but think religion is good in a morals aspect, as a guide...

I side with the Christians more than the atheists or other heathens
on morals clauses, good deeds for others, if nothing more...

I "usually" pretty much keep it to myself & I have good reasons
for why I think the way I do,
I'm not a science denier either...

why can't you have both ?

You have some screwed up friends if they say gays are going to hell. God said man shall not lay with man....nowhere did He say they were condemned to hell.
Sounds like you need to read a little more Bible and speak less about it.
