Today I attempted to install my new fuel lines from INLINE Tubes onto my 67 Charger Hemi engine, which is on a stand. I attached the lines to the carbs loosley, attached the rubber hoses to the fuel filters and the two fuel lines loosley to the "T". I also had printed out some referenced photos from online posts of other 67 Hemi engines.

I couldn't get the T to be at the 90 degree position to connect the fuel line to the fuel pump. see photos. The T is off center and the fuel line from the fuel pump is not lining up. I took it apart a few times, changed the rubber hose sizes, thinking I had the dimensions off but to no avail, the T is still off center to connect the fuel line to the fuel pump.

Any suggestions on going about this installation and getting a good result? See attached multiple photos.

for what you paid either return or shorten and double re flare 37 degree

Actually 45 degrees.. 37 is used in the plumbing trade, not automotive.. Don't think I've ever seen a 37 degree double flare....

The long piece that connects to the tee looks like it is bent wrong. All the pictures I have seen seem to have 90 degree bends, but your line doesn't.

FYI.....Regarding flare fittings:
45° Flare is an SAE (Society of Automotive Engineering) spec and can be accomplished easily with tools presently available
37-1/2 ° Flare is an JIC (Joint Industry Conference) spec, adopted by the military as an AN (Army - Navy) spec requirement because its more vibration immune and usually can withstand higher pressures . It can be flared but its not real common.

Here is a 66 tube kit I 20 to 25 years ago, no tee.View attachment 1138137

FRan, I can see the difference in the tube bend and that is the problem, the aftermarket stuff could be made better if they had had the original bend setting in their equipment. WE buy this stuff thinking theu have it right and they don't. Thanks for the photo.

Thanks GTX690 for taking the time to send me your photos. Much appreciated and understand your thoughts on the tube length. I changed mine out a few times thinking that is what the problem was but I believe it is the bend in the new lines is not correct. I will have to re-bend my self and get it to line up.

Here are some pictures of OOS (original old stock) Fuel filters and all.

Fran, you have some relics in your garage! I appreciate the detail with the tape measure. When I bought my Charger the engine was on a stand and all of these parts were missing. That is why I am buying all of these aftermarket fuel line parts. I also had to buy the pulleys, the power steering pump/bracket/hose,dipstick and on and on. I appreciate your help. Thank you.

On that 3" measurement, if your tubes were bent parallel would they be 3" apart?

Your fuel pump is not a hemi version and is clocked wrong. You should have a straight fitting on the output of fuel pump. Not a 45deg? You do have to tweak the lines to get the proper line up you want.
