Team,

I'm about to add the seats back in, and the rear bench bolts seem to have walked away from me.....can anyone recall size and thread? I'll add a few PICs

What year/model. Can't really help you, my '67 doesn't use any screw/bolts or nuts.

So in the end I believe the bolts are carriage style, and its interesting that the mount has sort of three possible mounting spots. I suppose this is an adjustment/fitment feature....but essentially there are two brackets on the back of the frame that slide up onto the sheet metal. Its a two man job getting this thing installed, as the seat must be forced upwards while getting the lower bracket aligned. I'm going to give it s second shot later today with the son's help to see if we can't get her in there...

Pic of the bracket might help.

Might be 27 body specific.

Definitely different than 2D and 4D.

They have a bar stock loop on the frame/body that a tang from the seat gets pushed into and then twisted to lock in.

It it different. This is more of a question for the folks with a convertible who’ve pulled the seat

Do you need the hardware or just want to verify that you are using the correct bolts?

It looks similar to my 66 Satellite except the seat back, slotted flanges are hinged to the seat frame rather than a rigid part of the frame. I will look at my bolts and see if I can size them.

Mine are 1/4-20 with a free spinning washer but I can’t be sure they are original. They don’t have a tapered assembly end like the one shown in your first post - which also looks to be a little coarser thread. Mr body bracket is a little different too as it has a single captured nut mounted in the bracket. So, I’m afraid this may not help - seems Dodge did a lot of things slightly differently from Plymouth.
