Minnesota Gold

This Coronet was the most challenging build I’ve done yet. I learned so much about these cars doing it, and am now in the fiddling phase where you start to adjust everything. I still have not attempted to start it…..

Your patience must be far greater than mine.

I'd have been to the store, the local cruise spot and likely to work by now.

.....note the callus on the man hands. Yeah buddy, I still work for a living.
Yep.
I am way too familiar with the swollen finger around the wedding band also.
It got to that point with mine that when in pre-surgery at the hospital one morning, they actually
cut mine off (I was livid later on when I found out!). Wound up having a jeweler "rebuild" it with
more gold - and bigger around, of course. :)

Ok, putting snaps on the boot cover. More skills learned here….. wow

Wonder if radio will have enough poop to drive the speaker? Put something like that in my car didn't very much luck. Don't know if radio was the problem or not, not a electrical guy anyway.
Like to know how it works out and if your using stock radio, good luck.

Sort of figured out, as usual, as to why dash lights and gauges don't work.....ground issues as always......those screws need to be super clean and make very....very good contact to the dash and cluster. There's a steel frame rail that runs along to the top to help facilitate this.....but if the holes are a bit worn from removal the ground is too weak. I'm going to make a body ground to place under one of the circuit board contacts....keeping in mind the voltage limiter. I've ordered a new board ( pricey $150) due to some warping and loose pins.....but will keep the old one and try to remand it.

Ok, got the battery conversion kit, plugs….not stickers , and the perfect battery
