Got the car on the hoist to strip it down for the rotisserie
Car has original paint on it so I wanted to take some pictures to document the factory overspray etc

Great pics, thanks. Sir, a newbie here, so I see undercoating in the wheel wells as well as what appears to be black paint. Same in the engine bay, so , was the engine bay painted that way from the factory or was it painted maybe by a previous owner. I am aware the factory painted black around the headlights and rad. opening over the original color, but not the whole bay area...thanks...

Someone just threw some rattle can paint on there

I have all new trim, plastic and dash pad

Doing some paint testing today to match the original texture and colour
I have seen most of the posts about good paint to use - tried a spot with “satin black”
And that was way too shiney
 
Don’t hesitate to have a paint shop mix you some up, some can even put it in an aerosol can if that’s a problem. Paint colors are listed in the FSM for a reference on your part numbers... Looking good!
