New guy

New guy,names anthony.had about 50 mopars,dam i wished i kept them.anyways just have my dodge ramp truck.looking for a 68 coronet project.lookin to swap.thats about it.

Hi Anthony, and welcome aboard.

I had to smile reading your intro. My man Billy has worked up a bunch of stuff over the years while I've been doing my own thing, including a '68 Coronet with +/- 28,000 actual miles -- seriously, it got turned into a very well built race car at some point early in life -- that he's now wanting to unload. This is a pic the day it arrived; I don't have any recent ones I know of.

Coincidentally, he also just took delivery of a rather neglected '84 D350 flatbed a few days ago. He wants to [spend way too much money and a whole bunch of time :fool:] ultimately turning it into a ramp truck for his '67 Barracuda fastback.

I have a sneaking suspicion that you two might have a lot to talk about ........... :D

Sounds like a conversation id like.the trucks been a part of my life for years,it actually was a bsf transport truck for years.and the paint scheme is the classic mopar but in reality is based off a old walker evens paint job on one of his broncos.i love the old truck and the idea was to build a vintage transport for a awb 64 dodge i was also going to build, but due to ……..ive kinda decided to move on.i work in auto restoration so its important to find a project with a finish line.restoring this truck and building another mopar just isnt realistic.i dont have the time, money or desire.im a mopar finatic and always have been but im not the crazy guy with mopars laying around and no trespassing signs.i want to do one last build and throw every trick, touch, and personalization i can into one last build.i may never finish it but you need ingredients to make a gourmet meal, and a 68 coronet is the main dish.so thats my focus.so hopefully i can find someone who feels that way about my old dodge.for me the hobby isnt about capitalism or having the rarest of them all but at least having something i want to build instead of ten i say ill build.motivation is huge at my age,and all i want.thx for the kind words, late!

You're probably right on that (I lost count/track of details on his many projects), but I think if it was a '67 he would keep it -- that's his birth year. It might also be a Coronet 500 ... my A Body I know in and out but B Body details aren't part of my brain's database like it is with you guys. I just keep up with their parts << wink >>.
