Yep... but the real million dollar question is what thickness and material type do you need to start with for a successful vacuum forming to end up at the correct thickness?? and can you obtain said thickness of raw material? Like I said above I spent a few months on it and well over two thousand dollars.... and have 36 years experience in the plastics industry.

With that resume if anyone could repo them it should be you I would think...
 
Not with Covid depleting the sheet stock around the world. I unfortunately don't have machinery to mfg sheet. I can form the channel guide shape successfully, but am about 60% too thick on the perfect raw sheet thickness to obtain perfect details and I can't get any.

Do u mean to say that there isn't product raw materials available world wide? Or just in Canada?
 
Do they HAVE to made of Mylar? Will no other product suffice?
