Looking for a 413 or 426 non-max wedge block or complete engine. If anyone has a fresh, stock bore, 440 that can remain at stock bore, that would work as well.

915 small valve heads too.

contact Rev. Mopar via this posting. Thanks, Rev.

I have a set of 1965 426 streetwedge pistons on stock rebuilt rods with arp rod bolts, but they are 426 std bore (4.25). also have a block (casting number 1852029) that was used both as a 413 and a 426, this block was a factory 413 that I had bored to 4.25, and a factory steel crank, all balanced but needs assembled. It has been stored for about ten years, and I have not looked at in a while, but would take $800 for it all.

I have the opportunity to buy two Imperials. Complete cars. One is a 61 and the other is a 62 I believe. I can get them dirt cheap. Does anyone want the drivetrains? I assume they are possibly 413 cars? I don't wan to drop $$ on these unless I can get some of the stuff sold. They are 4 hours away also which will take $$ and time to bring them home. I don't know the condition of the engines but they are under hood and have set for several years. I can check the dipsticks next time I am there. Usually a pretty good indicator of condition. I can also sell all of the trim to the fin other groups. They are pretty decent parts cars. for somebody.

My cylinder head guy and friend Don Little has a set of fully prepared 915s for your car
all the correct work done and flow excellent ready to go and go fast for Stock Eliminator.
Let me know if you have any interest?

1961 Imperial would still have cast iron Torqueflight behind its 413. Chrysler changed to redesigned aluminum transmission in 1962. The 1961 and earlier 413's had a different crankshaft to accomodate the iron transmission. However, a later RB crankshaft will drop right in the early block.

Yes to the search, which I had to curtail due to some family issues. The 440 must be stock bore and not in need of anything more than honing. An early "industrial" 413 will probably work, I am told by GTXJohn, so that is a possible "go".

What does Don want for those heads. I have only met in once and that was a long time ago. I know he does some pretty phenomenal work. I did get a good set of virgin 915's from Dale Meers, but they need to be worked.

I am up at Don's place today traveling to
Somona Nat'ls = He has sold the 915 Race heads
already. (They were a lot more than the $100 you paid)
