2 Scoops of Raisan Bran :poke:

Time to sell. Ask some hot snot customizers who thought their brain child was going to make a pile of money and they're still sitting on a ton of investment and no one is interested.

Didn't miss the point at all, it's a sweet looking hood as are the Chargers, RR and many others that do nothing but cover the motor and look cool. When I say functional it's only my preference, I like things that serve a purpose and aren't just for looks. I've always loved shakers, they're the ultimate functioning scoop.. they're cool to watch it shake too:thumbsup:

Mine.. many like it, many don't but I don't care. I'll be the last one bitching about what manifold, carb spacer, filter, etc that will fit under my hood because it goes through it:lol:View attachment 1141697

Covering the motor and engine compartment IS a function. Just like the fenders cover the wheels, etc. The designer is creating Industrial art to appeal to the potential buyer. Muscle cars are performance art that have no match in my opinion. What is the purpose of fins on a car? Aerodynamic? Who cares, they are cool looking. Great design sells cars and great design maintains desirability for, in some cases, ever.

Most new cars are designed to kill the aesthetics and appeal of vehicles and kill the desire to own one or drive one. They have become an appliance, a simple point A to point B conveyance.

WOW ,Somebody's sensitive about nothing , but likes criticizing other peoples likes

Maybe some people are jealous of what other people have and it makes them feel good to criticize.

oh aren't we special no just a 383 roadrunner and a 69 coronet with a blown hemi, what's that got to do with anything does that make you better then the rest of us? most of us buy our mopars cause we like them grew up with them prefer them , not as a status symbol or an investment, who's criticizing , this post is about a hood and I kid of like it

You seem to have a problem assuming why other people do what they do or why they buy certain things. I couldn't give a flying rats *** about what you have or why you have it but you seem preoccupied with judging others by what they have. So here's a suggestion: PISS OFF. Your motives are apparently about NOTHING.

I have a Satellite (1973 model which apparently some folks, even on this site love to hate) with a 318 and 74 Roadrunner hood (the most beautiful non-functional, simulated scooped, power bulge hood ever created).

The choir has officially been preached to.

I don't hate it. My favorite part of a car show is to see other peoples visions. I like to see what people piece together.

Some like it some don't.....and lots of people didn't like the 71 Cuda either but I like both and wish I had never sold my 71 340 Cuda. I like things that are different and the 71 had some of that going on plus I plan liked the E body cars. I like the Chargers too but never owned one.
