I like it!! I've done a few of those style trucks before, they weren't ambulances though. I did one for Buss fuse company many years ago. I enjoy that kind of work.

Fun today getting the 20 year old hot tub ready to be replaced so the swap for the new one will be easier for the delivery guys.
Hauling off the old tub was included in the deal and the deck was showing it’s age so that is another problem solved.
My wife is a really smart deal maker and she actually got them to drop the $550.00 standard price for hauling away the old tub….:asskiss:   :rofl::xscuseless:

The delivery guy called the other day and our new hot tub will be here tomorrow morning and my wife is going to be here. I am taking Thursday and Friday off for our anniversary and both birthdays so I will wire up the new tub after work tomorrow.

Our new hot tub is now planted and I was not able to finish the wiring tonight so I will get it done tomorrow and get some pictures. We are calling this our anniversary gift for each other.   :luvplace:

My Pro Street Cuda build. Bought as a rolling body 16 years ago. A failed attempt of some small race team's attempt to compete with the big boys of the day (Landy, Sox Martin, Grumpy ect.) They sold off the big hemi and crashboxed A833 trans in late 70s? And has been a rolling body since. I have attempted to build following some of their thoughts. But with a crazy 904 ci DOHC Schubeck marine engine. Producing 1200+ HP N/A on pump gas.

The idea is build an 8 sec car that looks and sounds very Street. As a "Hustler" But build has proven challenging to say the least? The good new? Engine is to resemble some hemi aspects. (Hemi 8-bolt drill crank shaft.) But engine so big? It has both Chevy and Chrysler BB bellhousing bolt patterns. Current plan is to use JW Ultrabell Power Glide with Gear Vendor OD unit. (Engine is low RPM (6500 red line) Max HP at 5200. The trans can handle the power. But those things heat up fast for any real Street application. Even with the best of trans coolers.

In closing? Just another nut who wants his cake and eat it too? Lenco is probably the best current transmission option. As I have talked with all the transmission players. (Liberty, G-Force, Tremec, Passon.) All admitting that there is a manual transmission void with today's available HP options. Automatics are not necessarily the best option? They too have (like everything in this world.) drawbacks.

Happy times are here again as the hot tub is finally filling up and then we can fire it up…..

Somehow I have made it to 62 and life is good. Once the tub is heating up I can turn my attention to the Charger and start on the fuel tank and efi project. :luvplace:  :steering:
