HEY guys where's the best place to by a sure grip clutch kit.

Bringing this post to current. Nobody has these clutches in stock. Most sites say discontinued. Is there an alternate part number?

I found them at Mancini.. Thanks for the heads up. When I looked on Dr Diff it says they aren't available when I add the thin plates But I see what you mean. .

I did buy a set and thought I had the right number. 2021228 I think was the number. But it was way bigger than the ones in the SG.

Ok bought a kit from Mancini wow how wrong this one is. It says it’s for an 8.75 sure grip. The part number I bought was MRE 4529484. This is very odd.the first set I bought was even larger. So here is a picture of the kit and in the middle is the actual axle size. Wtf look it up on summit and it shows the same kit but the number starts with P instead of the MRE. So I do t know what damn parts to order.

the first kit you bought was for a Dana 60 the kit you bought from Mancini is the correct kit -- the plate you show fits over the clutch hub/side gear NOT the axle shaft look at picture in previous post ,,when you do get to assembly make sure you orient the clutch plates correctly

OK ill tear it apart tonight. That was confusing to me. I'm a sure grip virgin so be easy on me. lol I thought the splines were for the axle I see what you guys are saying now.

Ok one more question. The new disc set did not contain a concave clutch disc only 1 concave steel per side. The old one has both.

Don't know, I have two Mopar kit and one from dc diff, all have 2 + 2 concave.

I will look them over vette when I get home. I did not notice the concave clutch discs. Weird
