My originals wheels was steel wheel 14x5.5 with Goodyear tires 215/70/14 (25.85 dia.).
Tires was more than ten years old, so I make a switch to15x7 Magnum 500 with 225/70/15.
Now I need a spare tire...
I can buy a 15 inches rim with a new tire 225/70/15 (27.4 dia.) but the cavity in the trunk for the spare make a big bump in the trunk... for the Dodge Charger 1967.
I wish have a spare tire with less width, so I make research on the net to find a thinner tire with the same diameter, wheel pattern and hub dia.
After a few beers... I finally found something interesting.
07-14 Ford Edge, Wheel Rim 17x4-1/2 with T165/80D17 tire.
T165/80D17 = 27.40 dia.
Now the trunk spare board is flat like original...
And 14 pounds less weight too.
