We have a 1969 Plymouth GTX when we purchased it ( from St. Louis) we were told it’s a super track pak, it has has the A32 super performance axel package, 410 gears ,and 4 pot caliper discs,Hemi suspension has A34 on fender tag ,we want to know how do we recognise if this is a super track pak we are confused we love the car regardless , can any body help? Where do we look on the tag or broadcast sheet to identify a super track pak ?

Well the first thing we need is a fender tag and a broadcast sheet pic to help us out . Several other pics are good to we like car ****.. You know the crew is going to skin ya for no pictures! Sounds like a neat car, welcome aboard!

A32 should have 4.10 Dana 60, front disc brakes, power brakes, maximum cooling (26" radiator), 7-blade torque drive fan, and Hemi suspension. That's what my white book states at least.

What axle code is on the fender tag. A32 or A34 ?

A32 is for auto.
A34 is for 4 spd

Thanks to @polywideblock (and @Cman for compiling into one PDF) There is a reference that has a lot of the numbers you need. Look here: https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopa...husiast-decode-edition.147971/#post-910908391

Having said that, there are lots of very knowledgeable members here that can answer any questions about your car. As indicated earlier, the fender tag (and/or broadcast sheet) are really key pieces of information as to what the car was built with. (The fender tag sits on the driver side inner fender.)

As far as what is currently ON your car right now, here are some quick visuals:
  • A Dana rear has a bolt on cover at the rear of the axle, whereas the 8 3/4 does not. The 8 3/4 instead has a center section the drops in from the front. So, if you have a bolt on cover (on a BIG rear), you likely have the Dana.
  • To check the rear ratio, safely jack up the rear wheels (block the front wheels so it doesn't move). Then, when in neutral, spin the wheel one time and count the number of times the driveshaft spins. If a little more than 4, you have a 4.10.
  • Hemi suspension means that you got extra heavy duty suspension. Count the rear leaf springs. A quick way to tell is if one side has 7 leaf springs and the other has 6.
Let us know what you find (and some pictures please too!)

With the exception of the A12 cars, all '68-'70 440 equipped B-bodies were equipped with Hemi suspension.

Look in the A box on the broadcast sheet for the A32 or A34 package code. Look for the same code on the fender tag.

Wasn't that only with manual transmissions? I thought the automatics still got 8 3/4 rears.

Hey there F4R/T man. You provided the best info. Our broadcast sheet indicated 01 32 under the A “combination groups” field under section 6. The fender tag also has A32 on it. Which I gather also means super performance axle package with 4:10 gears as well. Depicting a super trac pack 440 plus auto. Which is what we have. Fender tag Also has A31just before the vehicle order number At the top but I don’t think that means anything. Jeez I hope I have this all correct?
Anyway thanks heaps for your help and pics . DB
