Nice

I wasn't going to put much effort in it. The engine that is
If it runs ok ill leave it in for a while

Well, if you plan to pull it, folks into Pontiacs might like to get ahold of it so don't scrap it... Either keep it with the car or sell it...

That's funny, a buddy of mine is about to pull the trigger on a 66 goat. Nice looking cars.

That is rare with the 6 in it still after all these years.
That's what makes it special even though it is not a muscle car engine it's still cool to see it survived

As much as I hate 6 cylinders those Sprints actually have acquired a decent following in the Pontiac world. Worth a bit to the right guy

Sprint 6 yes! That is a worthy car to grab. Those engines are great.

Nice car. Went to the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio yesterday ( huge event !)and only saw a couple cars still running the Six, and both were Firebirds.

I bet the Pony ac guys pulls the sixes like the Mopar guys tend to do! Everyone has to be a boy racer!

Please keep it all Pontiac no LS swap and a 9” ford rear diff too! It looks like a good solid project . I like those tin Indians once in awhile! If the six is solid enjoy it for what it is and you may even squeak a little mpg out of it. Good luck!

Well, the /6's were a dime a dozen....were the Sprint 6's? Nope. If I found a decent Mopar with the aluminum 6, that would be a different story too. Those for sure weren't a dime a dozen. I've had plenty of /6 cars over the years and there's not that many that really want them even today. They want the car but they rather have a V8, however, if I found a really nice car with a /6 in it tomorrow I'd leave it be just because I don't feel like doing anymore engine swaps lol

I had a 67 Tempest Sprint with a 3 speed Hurst on the floor. It had two separate exhaust manifolds that went into a Y-pipe that went into a large tailpipe. It put down quite a few small block Chevy’s. You needed to have a tire under it that would allow you to let it to spin a little when shifting into 2nd otherwise it would bog it down. One nite I raced a GTO and had him in 1st & 2nd but the spread to 3rd was too far and caught me. It would been a killer with a 4-speed.
