1969 Plymouth GTX

Hey there F4R/T man. You provided the best info. Our broadcast sheet indicated 01 32 under the A “combination groups” field under section 6. The fender tag also has A32 on it. Which I gather also means super performance axle package with 4:10 gears as well. Depicting a super trac pack 440 plus auto. Which is what we have. Fender tag Also has A31just before the vehicle order number At the top but I don’t think that means anything. Jeez I hope I have this all correct?
Anyway thanks heaps for your help and pics . DB
I’ll post a photo of the broadcast sheet and tag over the weekend, just need to blank out bits like you did for obvious reasons first all good Cheers DB

A01 is light package.

A32 is the 4.10 dana axle pkg for an auto car. Refered to as the super performance axle pkg.

Track pack and super track pack are 4spd applications

Ps.

ALL of the A12 cars have the 'Hemi ' suspension.
And ALL have the 4.10 dana rear axle regardless of transmission choice

Hi there. I beg to differ. There were track pac and super trac packs built that were auto. Over 500 STP autos too. Ours also cam with a hemi auto with extra clutches in the trans. Hemi suspension 26 inch rad . 4 pot calipers and much more. These STP cars were not limited Or exclusive To just manuals.

Customer customisation also came into effect which in a lot of cases distorted what the “norm” was for these TPs and STPS. Many did not fit the factory basic package such as ours. Anyway. This is why there is such confusion out there. Cheers for your input though

Very early in our thread my wife stated A34, but she got it wrong it’s A32.
I’m likely going to slow down on this posting Thing because 90 percent of posts are incorrect and misleading. I’ll try and contact Galen Govier again with our details and get his angle. You’ve been the most help though, Thankyou. Cheers D

Good luck with that. Way more knowledgeable people on here.

A34 specs for a 70 Roadrunner, wonder why the specs wouldn't mention 3-2bbl carbs. A 1970 V code Roadrunner with A34 package isn't much different than a 1969 A12?

Was power steering standard with the Track Pack/Super Track pack option? I see the max cooling option with the 26 radiator states a power steering cooler?

I bought a new 383/automatic Super Bee in 1969. It came with 3.91 Suregrip on Hemi suspension. 26" radiator with shroud and clutch fan. It had power disc brakes and manual steering.

No

IF EQUIPPED means if the car also had power steering then the cooler was part of the package.

That certainly was just one of many favorable Chrysler product line. "Lots" of build checkboxes. It's why broadcast sheets are more sought today than Ford/GM efforts. (Although nobody suffers from an abundant of information? Including the Ford/GM boys.)
