Installing an Edelbrock PRO- FLO 4 XT on a 440 (Lets open the Box)

Nope. I would not recommend that as I have the manifold and max wedge gaskets to test with. Gonna take a lot of manifold welding. Use the 240 heads.
Perfect!!! Was intending on using the 240 heads, was just looking at potential use of 270 heads, thank you

The only issue is, you are going to run a air intake hose right over top of that.... Plus, another surface to seal..
Your pro-flow will give you temp read outs on the Tablet.. I would use that or maybe a can bus gauge cluster like the one from Banks.
Yeah, I'm going to have a lot of fitment challenges. AC lines, radiator hose...

The 4150 style, might be a better setup for your car.. Works great on stock motors too.. Yeah, you may loose a little low end, but worth it.
I would prefer the 4150 but need to check total height. Did some measuring yesterday and I cannot exceed 7-9/16"" total height from base of the new manifold to the top of the throttle body, to preserve the hood. From other posts it seems the 4150 may exceed this, but the XT is less. I plan on calling Edelbrock to see if I can get some numbers. I really hate to mess with that beautiful hood.

I have some pictures somewhere.

The F.I. Manifold and Throttle body are about the same height as a Performer RPM Manifold and Holley Carb.

Nice but sure would like to see a measuring tape along side. Looks like the 4150 is slightly taller than the Perf manifold; I currently run the Torquer manifold and literally have <1/2" hood clearance with an Edelbrock Thunder carb and drop air cleaner. From the pics it looks like the XT may be the choice. I'm waiting on a call back from Edelbrock right now.
