Blocks....

Looking in Mancini Racing Catalog Hemi blocks are $3800.

EDIT: Bogus as best can tell, was looking at a newsletter that gave price. Website says $4800.

I don't think you can get one.
I have a BMP aluminum block at the shop that is going to do the build eventually. They retail for $5800. The RB block (like mine) and Hemi block will take a 4.5" stroke with no clearancing required. They are probably available to ship immediately.

Thank you.
Bill Mitchell Products "reworked" the design, and they come only needing lifter bores honed to size, line hone mains, deck and bore.
Now I see the lifter bore "sleeves" in place, and I believe the ductile iron cylinder sleeves come at 4.49 (on the big bore block I got, but they also have a small bore 4.24" IIRC? available, maybe better for a boosted or lots of Nitrous application?)
So I'm guessing the cylinder sleeves get a "clean up" bore, but my point is they don't need major machining to correct a myriad of problems like "some other" blocks have.
