I have a nice 1965 factory 383 dual quad setup for sale. Ran great when pulled two years ago and has been sitting on the shelf and needs a new home. Original 3258 afb with a J5 date and 3259 with a M5 date. Factory progressive linkage. Return spring brackets not original but functional, springs are just to show placement. Includes small chrome air cleaners and a fiberglass hemi dome assy in wrinkle black. Asking $1,150.00 plus shipping.

Where did you get the small air cleaners? I am looking for a pair.

Shoot those look good. They will be fine. Looks like you painted the bases to match intake to. Nice touch. I am using aircraft rod ends and stainless rod to build my linkage when I get it set up. I may raise the carbs with spacers a bit. I don't think the butterflies will clear the intake holes. I am still needing a 3249S AFB to match the one I have. Its 400 CFM I think.

Was that a dealer-available intake for self install? Can’t think of any factory 383s in 1965 with two fours.

June of 65 casting date on intake and 65 date codes on carbs. I would think it's a 65 setup.

This one is an early casting starting with 18. I think it was a 57-8 Fury?? I can get the entire number if you want to research it? The carb I need 3249S is a 62 318 piece. I am going with them because they are 400CFM.
