Just have the machinist put in the bigger valves and hardened seats when you have them rebuilt.
As far as matching date code, if they are within a couple 3 months of each other they probably are a matching set.

There's allot of extra iron that needs to be removed & blended beyond just cutting the seats & dropping bigger valves in... Trust me, it's worth the extra effort..

I just went ahead and sand blasted it when it was upside down. It will have to flushed at the machine shop anyway.

Now it’s time for a major cleaning session.. it’s hard to clean up when so tired after doing something and then it just piles up and becomes a disaster.. it’s just making work more harder than is needs to be..

Dodge List 7987 carburetor with matching metering block and rare vapor lock bowl I purchased for 115 dollars because of the bowl for the final touches.

If this keeps going for years I might be on hoarders. A walk through of the shop house engine house where the inspection crew does a walk through with tear jerking music and it’s only a narrow passage way through the house. I can’t move around anymore. I just sleep on a bed full of car parts.. they all give me a sit down intervention with scenes of my family talking on camera we just don’t know what to do anymore.. with dramatic argument scenes like I can’t get ride of this bolt it’s a vintage cooling fan bolt for a 440.

I sent a lot of feedback so it’s possibly more feedback comments. Iam a seller. They’re positive review in selling but they’re in the 90 day past. I was trying to build up back then positive reviews from selling.
