White Lettering In or Out?

I love white letter tires, but got tired of cleaning them and then at some point they are no longer "white" but more of a cream color.....I'll be black wall out from now on!

What ever you decide (It is your choice) Please don't use that tire shine crap. Tires aren't meant to be shinny, + it's just WRONG!

I don't know. Let me drive your car around for a while. I'll ask and report back. lol:lol:
I like the RWL best.

hmmm... I'll take a cue from the 70's gas crunch... white out on even-number days, black out on odd-number days

Now that is funny. When I was pumping gas in NY in 73 I used a Louisville Slugger to point like the Soup Nazi, No gas for you. Never had to use it thank God.

I like white out depending on what brand tires and what they say on them....it's a late 60's 70's thing...

What is YOUR preference, it’s your car.
NO. He shall do what the FBBO God's command! Unless you work for Good Year or something and have a vested interest in advertising for them? White letters only distracts from the car! And so it shall be written! And law of the land! (Ok, maybe that's a bit of a stretch. But I voted black out.)

Black side out for me, and Cooper Cobra tires are really solid and shed water very well in my opinion.
:xscuseless:

 :luvplace: :steering:

Got the white showing. Only 71 Super Bee, on Earth, with Milestar Streetsteel tires. Tires have been on the car for four months. Thus far, only ONE letter has turned brown.. The “R”, in Milestar, on the passenger front tire. I have tried to bring this one brown letter, back to white, unsuccessfully..

Just an FYI, The Mickey Thompson Sportsman ST tire is also made by the same company as Coopers. The Mickey Thompson is also period correct as they were the first DOT street approved " Indy" low profile tires. Firestone and Goodyear also made low profile tires but they were road race tires that guys used on the streets, available in the late sixties and were not street legal. Paper thin sidewalls with painted on lettering.
