PLANO, TX—When ballparks finally open again, those standing for the traditional seventh-inning stretch will be singing some different lyrics to "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

After over 100 years of selling its caramel popcorn snack under the name Cracker Jack, Frito-Lay announced today that it would be rebranded as the less offensive "Caucasian Jack."

"We are very sorry to all the crack---er, I mean, Caucasians we have hurt over the years," said a spokesperson. "Cracker is an offensive stereotype, and we must make sure that all foods and snack products are culturally sensitive. Think about all the white people who have had to suffer in silence as tens of thousands of baseball fans sang out the hurtful lyrics 'Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks.'"

"No more. The bigotry stops today."

The move was applauded by hurt white people, though they are still criticizing Frito-Lay for how pale and pasty-white the Cracker Jack guy is on the logo.
 
Changes name to be more PC. Then gets instantly canceled for being to white.

(I’m still pissed they changed “Jake from State Farm” to a black guy.)
 
I have to ask IF Cracker Jack is actually a cracker???? Is it not just some candy like coated crap sorta a like pop corn? And do people of color actually buy a product named Cracker Jack? Would they buy it IF it had another name? or a pic of a little Black sailor type kid? Or if the popcorn was made of some sort of color??
As you can see, I never eat or have ever even eaten Cracker Jack in my 73 years that I can remember, and have no issue with it being named Cracker and I have no problem with being labeled a cracker either<<<<<
 
We have actual Crackers here in Florida, They are cattle ranchers who use a long whips that "Crack" when whipped thus they are called Florida Crackers.
The cows don't like the sound and the cowboys use the them to herd them up and move them to other pastures.
I live right next to Ayavalla plantation and they have around 10,000 head here.
I guess we should rename them Florida Caucasians now.
I figured it was a Babylon Bee satire story when I first heard it the other week.
 
Crap like this must explain why I no longer hear Honky Tonk Women by the Rolling Stones on the radio.
