Is it possible to do or has anyone made a superbird clone out of a 68 or 69 satellite, gtx or roadrunner? I know you would need to do quite a bit but 70 project seem hard to find...thanks

I think the cost of building a fake bird would be astronomical. The body parts alone to convert a 68/69 to a 70 would be an insane cost. And in the end your VIN would say its a 69 satellite..

It would look wrong with those body lines Up high on the rear quarter’s and wrong trunk & taillights.

are you planning on changing the quarters and tail panel & trunk lid to 1970 parts?

they used a 1969 to start with. They are the same car under the different sheet metal.

I thought of doing this back in the '70's when you could still get all the pieces from Chrysler but thought better of it. Although in hindsight, those original pieces today would be worth a small fortune!

I would change the rear panel pieces... Considering i would start with a project car i would probably have to do quarters anyway...just want to make sure if i cant find a 70 i could go with a 68 or 69
