Pictured are the two different types. Is there any performance difference? The one on the right is nicer to look at.

The one on the right also has mounting screws shown that have a larger through-hole for larger diameter jets.

Those were used on the 660 tunnel ram/dual quad race applications. You can get them separately from Holley. I used use those on all my carb builds as they have that hole for more flow.

Ya, I used the high flow shooters on my 850 DP single carb and my 650 DP's on my tunnel ram. Even with the smaller squirter size. More flow capability can't hurt.

I'm trying smaller ones on my crossram. Both carbs have .035's going try .028's since it supplies 4 cylinders. Lot of gas going in until it warms up. Black plugs, been restricting fuel idle feed with limited success.

Shooter size is sure a trial & error deal. The pump cams can make a really big difference too. More experimentation.

Fran, for comparison, on my cross ram I have 37 squirters, and use the pink cams on the #1 hole.
My carbs are the repop Holley race hemi carbs.

Most newer carbs worth their salt come with the high-flow screw, but standard pump nozzle. Whether it makes any difference is debatable. I personally didn't see any difference using the tube-style nozzles, in response or A/F readings. That isn't to say they're a total crock of bull though, I'm sure they serve a purpose in some specific applications..

There is actually three type of Holley ACC pump shooters. One type is rarely seen but its in one of my Holley books. Ron

I used the high flow screws on all my combinations. On my 650 DP tunnel ram carbs I used the standard shooters, on the 850 DP single used the extended version. I needed a fairly large variety of shooter sizes to find the right one for your combination.
