Could you get manual steering on a 69 Charger?

The vast majority of cars were spec'd by the factory, not ordered... so most Chargers got PS. .

The second part can be easily shown by the options and accessories reports.

How does one document the first part that most cars were sales bank cars and not customer ordered?

I wish my '68 had power steering. Can't speak for '69 but certainly wasn't standard the year before.

Great post ! My 69 Charger R/T was an ordered car with Manuel Steering and brakes. Original owner only wanted to go racing (on the Street) with it. I admit after the restoration I did add Power Steering and Power disc brakes.
Much easier to drive and enjoy. The purists will hate me but tuff. I did save everything should my sons ever want to put it back some day when I'm gone. No matter what you have just enjoy your ride as much as you can !

My 68 Charger was ordered with manual steering and manual brakes, with the 383 and factory four speed. The only other options were tach and AM radio. It is a bit of a handful, but not bad. A fun car to look at though!

My Convertible 69 Satellite is a slant 6, three speed on the tree with drum brakes all around.

can anyone send me the option list/sales codes for 69 satellites like the one previously posted on page 1 of this thread for the Charger?
