Welding in a K frame

Naa thinking a bit tougher than that 1/4 ar500 if you do it do it right.

Trans will be an easy out bottom engine would have to top .
Clearly - I was only referring to taking them out together. If you have a lift, dropping them out the bottom is the only way to go. I have a large table on casters that I use. WAY EASIER THAN USING A CHERRY PICKER.

You know old ways can you pull a 440 of the top can you drop a 727 or 833 down and work on them?

If nobody done it there must be a reason. The real question why? Did you buy a new welder. There's not a lot of area to weld to. Best reason I can think of is all the flexing would break the welds over time. If there's a problem with holes, stripped or broken bolt or whatever fix it.

I still dont see the advantage of a removeable k other than on the assembly line?

Very true but there are many that sell subframe connectors?

Always bolt and weld that makes tough.

If no one has thats not good enough like right now getting rid of sandwich mounts in favor for spool think outside the box.

Our forefathers thought of these things I remember at 18 had to Chain the ds side down and that was a shitty solution.

US Car tool sells a cross brace for connecting frame rails. I'd use that and leave K-member alone.

So now I will weld the k in just because it is the correct way. Frame stiffener and attach sub frames then a really good roll cage.
